Well Autumn decided to arrive today. Football game tonight in Mayberry. Perfect Night for Pot Roast. It's what's for dinner tonight...



Chuck Roast (can say for Pot Roast on label)
Rub meat with oil and then flour
Brown in a pot with a little more oil and 3 garlic cloves (crushed/minced) and salt and pepper.
Then add a medium can of tomato sauce, gravy master for a little color and flavor, ½ cup red wine, and a little water.

Add cut up onions, carrots (alraday slightly boiled) and celery

Simmer for one hour.

Then add potatoes and cook for another hour until meat is done and potatoes are tender

Serve with bread and or egg noodles.
