Cara: Holes

So I have a hole problem.Get your head out of the gutter! Seriously! I keep getting these mysterious holes in the front of my shirts. (see pic - not my shirt; some other poor slob) They are two or three and small. But big enough that I can see them and can't wear the shirt again. They appear on the front bottom of my shirts. I have had this happen to about 15 shirts. It's very frustrating. I am not into disposable clothes.
I first thought it was the purse I carried. It had studs on it that I thought ripped my shirt. I stopped using it. I thought maybe it was a particular pair of jeans from Old Navy that I wore. I got rid of them. Still happening.
So, pardon my French but "wtf"?
I Googled "holes in the front of my shirt". Low and behold I got about 893,00o choices. Seems there's a secret epidemic and I am not the only one. Their theories range from Gap jeans, to granite counter tops to car seat belts.
It's making me nuts. I just ripped a green shirt that I really liked. I have 16 new pajama/sleep tops now. grr!!!
I need to find out what the heck is going on and what's causing this. I am going to buy 400 tank tops in every color under the sun and wear them under every shirt and see if it's my jeans or pant buttons that are doing it. I don't have granite counter tops and I don't see anything pointy or sharp on my seat belt. If the tank tops work then I will know what it is. If not I may have a temper tantrum.
