Ground Zero June 29th 2010

Cara Jenn's in NYC this week with Mae, with no computer access, typing on the iPhone when you have a lot to say ain't easy. So she will give the NYC update on Saturday. For now are some pics she took at Ground Zero. She hasn't been there since 9/11. I have never been there. I could never bring myself to go. I have driven past it a few times but always found myself looking away. Being a NY'er it's still too raw to me. So have a look at the progress. Being a NY'er means being tough, moving on and persevering.

Still brings a tear to the eye. I was there once since 9/11, but could not bring myself to actually walk near the huge empty space. Forever a hole in our hearts.
