Cara: An Empty Square

There’s an empty square on my calendar for today. Is that possible? There’s nothing planned? No seriously really? Now I am sure I will find something to do today. I am having 25 people over for the 4th tomorrow. But there’s nothing planned. No lax camp. No tennis lessons. No nothing. Yeah.
It’s lovely this summer thing. (Even if the weather gods just got the memo that it is indeed summer. A little rain here and there, but nothing terribly depressing.)
Today I will take my time. I will have to go to the market, I mean it wouldn’t be a day if I didn’t stop there at least once. But they will wait for me all day…I don’t need to be there at a certain time.
I will let the cherubs sleep in until they feel like getting up. I will tiptoe around the house so no one hears me. I will make my coffee and hide somewhere to read the paper. The day will call me and I will have to answer…when I feel like it.
