The good news is we bought a house - yes finally - more of that to come next week - but we bought said house and left it - empty - what is a few more days? We had plans to go away with friends this weekend since January and I was not going to let something like buying a house change that. So with that being said, the house sits empty and we are here enjoying our friends, giving our kids a chance to have fun and relax - something that is much needed in this family.

We started out this morning caravaning our way up to the dude ranch. A short trip, a little under 3 hours. Got here, broke out the red cups, let the kids go wild and began to unwind and enjoy ourselves. So far, so good. Tomorrow we head out on the trails - hope to have a good story or two from that adventure. Kids are just thrilled to have their friends and think they are so cool to have the run of the place. 11 pm and can't sleep though bone tired - screaming kids in the room next door - that will be a whole different post.
