I have nothing to blog about today... so here are some random thoughts:
- Halloween is Saturday and I have not bought everything for my kids costumes yet - this is very unlike me.
- Christmas is in approximately 8 weeks.
- My office is a mess - still haven't unpacked it yet and it is not fun to look at.
- My kids are annoying me this week with all their petty fighting - I am trying to get them to be kind to each other.
- I read an article last night about how important it is to have girlfriends in your life - especially ones who make you laugh... so thanks to the girls who make me laugh!
- I am off to BJ's today for a major shopping - Oh Joy!
- I need to post my 2/52 picture so I will have to take one today - wonder if I can get my surly 13-year-old son to pose with me?
Those are my not exciting, mundane thoughts for today - I may add more later so check back. Don't hold your breath - they won't be any more exciting.

Friends to laugh with is important, and missing in my life. But I'm working on it!

(oh, and I have not gotten ready for costumes yet either... Friday I'm doing that!)
Being a mom can be a really Thankless job at times~ My kids are at the age where no one cares about Halloween, and no one needs a costume, and we are not babies.......................until Halloween day! I learned this the hard way a few years ago so I have a stash of make up and various other items I will magically pull out!~

Ugh. I haven't done anything for Halloween. Nor have I done anything for my husband's 50th birthday in four days. I'm a horrible mother and wife. I better get off this computer and take care of business.
i ordered my son's costume in july - he's a star wars fanatic so for his bday he got the deluxe darth vadar costume. unfortunately i ordered it 5 sizes too small. when did i remedy the situation? tuesday. which cost me $30 in shipping fees. which is exactly like me :) found you from steph in the city
