Jenn: When it Rains it Pours

My weekend sucked. It did not rain, it did not pour, it was a downright Monsoon in my house - maybe closer to a tornado. Not literally of course, but that is what it felt like. These are the things no one ever tells you can happen to you - but lo and behold I had not one, not two but three kids with the stomach bug this weekend. Really? Really! It started Friday with my oldest, okay - he is 13 and can pretty much take care of himself except he didn't quite make it down the stairs to the bathroom. Took care of that. Plopped him in my bed near my bathroom and basically left him alone for the day. Lysoled the entire house top to bottom. Good to Go. Go out Saturday night, get a phone call that my 11-year-old is not feeling so good. Lie down I tell her, get a text, I am puking. Go home and spend the night in the bathroom with her - because even though she doesn't need my help, she needs my company - why? So no sleep Saturday night. Hubby off to London on Sunday for work - kissed him goodbye and sat down to relax. Yep, you guessed it, my 7-year-old does not feel good. Now she is the girl who cries wolf so I am not taking her seriously. I set up the blowy bed in my room in the hallway next to my bathroom "just in case" and go to sleep when I am awakened by a screaming, hurling girl - guess she wasn't crying wolf. Up again Sunday night. Should have left the country with hubby - he got off easy! No rest for the weary. Kept the girls home from school - sent the boy since he passed the 24 hour mark. Changed my sheets for the third time in three days since I let each of them lay in my bed at some point. The laundy is sky high, I am out of lysol and patience I have never had all three kids get sick like that. Sure we have had out share of the stomach bug - but never all of them in 24 hours. I do not wish it on anyone. Seriously, I have not seen this much puke since the last Frat party I went to and that was over 20 years ago. TMI - I know - but its how I spent my weekend and I just wanted to share it with everyone...How was your weekend?
