I am cranky. I'm writing this on Thursday night, the night before, which I usually do. I wasn't sure what I was going to blog about. And suddenly...this crankiness overcame me and now I have to post. Who the heck wants to read about someone's cranky mood? I guess you...or you can just hit that little red "x" in the top right corner and send me packing, I will understand.
I fear the February Funk has snuck up on me without me knowing it. I knew it was February. I watched that stupid groundhog go back in his hole. I have been doing my thing all January, ignoring the grayness outside, getting things organized and de-cluttered. Then this week...I forgot about a meeting I had on Tuesday night, never wrote it on new 2010 calendar...I seriously may hurt both of my cats who want to either eat or go out 4005 times a day....I lost my keys a total of 4 times...I've lost my temper several times...I remembered I had a dentist appointment this morning 10 minutes before I had to be there...on and on it went this week.
It could be sugar withdrawal since I have been trying to lower my sugar intake. A girl without sweets and things get ugly.
So since I am not giving in this year to February Funk...and now that I have vented some (thanks for listening and not hitting the red "x") I will look for the good in this week. Thursday is our 4 yr. anniversary in our house. I love my house. I got a lot done around here thanks to an old routine that I pulled out that always sets me on the right course. I went to a baby shower of someone who was over the moon about expecting, which made it that much nicer. Mike and I worked on a project for school and it was fun. He had to make a shirt for PARP (Parents As Reading Partners) week in school, depicting his favorite book.
which this week is:I think we did a smashing job on his shirt. We Modge Podged his drawing onto the shirt. I adore Modge Podge. Whenever we use it I want to Modge Podge everything that will stand still long enough. Maybe there will be more Modge Podging this month...hmmm.
Oh and tonight is Pajama Movie Night with the girls. My family has been instructed to make a like a tree so me and my friends can eat junk in our pajamas and watch girlie movies. I am looking forward to that. So I suppose the week will end on a high note. Good friends, wine and snacks really that's nothing to be cranky about.
Jenn's two cents: I can't believe you have been in your house 4 years! It seems like forever and only yesterday all at the same time. Mike's shirt looks awesome - I am getting ready to bedazzle in just a few!
Cara's three cents: I LOVE Bedazzling...waaah! I want to bedazzle Mike's shirt...but alas he then may need therapy!
Oh and it's Friday Follow...it's awesome!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such sweet comments! I hope to see you back there soon:-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm following back. And I've blogged in a cranky mood many times. Nothing wrong with a good bloggy ranting once in a while.
To my dear friend, "Martha"
Mike's shirt came out SO awesome!! Wasn't the standard issued T shirt white?? It appears that you not only got him a colored T to coordinate w/ the cover of the book--u modge podged (you'll have to tell me what that is exactly) the shirt to professional standards!! So I ask...if that is you on a down day (read: "cranky" per blog post)...you must cheer up right now!!
Spring will be here before you know it and flip flops will abound!!
As for today...we have the girls, our PJs and wine to look forward to...who's luckier than us?! C u tonite!
xo xo Mrs.Ps
Just loved this post... coming from SITS. Random, but are you going to Bloggy Boot Camp in Baltimore?
