Limbo: an intermediate, transitional, or midway state or place
These next two weeks I feel like I am in limbo. An inbetween place. Not quite the mayhem of back to school & all that brings with it and not really the middle of summer. We are winding down around here. Camps are done. Summer travelling done. School supply shopping done. I am waiting.
Yesterday construction began on our pool. It should be ready to jump in by next weekend. We will get a few weeks of use out of it and then it will be covered and forgotten about until spring. The kids are anxious and excited - they see this big hole in the ground and want to go swimming. They do not like the waiting for things to be done. Me? I am good. I don't mind the wait.
I am looking forward to a routine again. It's hard to get motivated to do anything when there is just so much time to do nothing.
