May 1st. This year is moving fast. Winter seems to have come and gone in a flash. Maybe that's because there weren't too many days that kept me home. No snow days this winter which means a long Memorial Day Weekend for the kids. I am looking forward to it. A few days of warm weather, nowhere to be, a chance to sleep in. A great way to kick-off summer.


Today is a day to stay under the covers and read a book. It's cold & rainy outside. A perfect excuse to stay indoors. There will be plenty of sunshine days to come so I will take advantage of this gloomy day. Do the bare minimum around the house & stay in my jammies until one o'clock. Happy May Day.
