Cara: 5th Of July!

Hope your Fourth was fun! Our was the ususal craziness...lots of people, lots of food, lots of fun. Today is the aftermath of cleanup while dragging.
On holidays like Fourth of July I like to make a few fun things. The usual traditional things aren't required like on Christmas.
This year I made those strawberries above. Cute right? Just mix 2 cups white chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and melt. Dip clean strawberries in and then dip in blue sparkly sprinkles. Easy, super cute and who doesn't like chocolate covered strawberries?
I also made Mountain Dew Cake...an oldie but goodie that a cousin requested.
1 box of lemon cake mix
1 box of lemon instant pudding
1/4 cup of oil
2 eggs
12 oz of Mountian Dew
Mix ingredients all together.Pour
into a Bundt pan and bake at 350
for 35-40 minutes. Cool in pan for
about 10 min. Transfer to plate
and sprinkle with powder sugar.

Onward now to a little normal, no parties or holidays upcoming. I need a little normal...up to now every day seems to have been a whirlwind. Normal is good.
