Today hubby & I are heading off to Freedom Fest 2012. It's a country music fest happening locally with some really big country stars. Hubby & I have travelled halfway across the country for some good country concerts. We share a love of country music which makes for some nice trips. Hubby is not a lay on the beach kinda guy - so a three day music fest is the perfect getaway for us. A few beers, some good music, no kids, and voila - instant happiness.

Today will be a mini vacation right in our own backyard. 9 hours of music + no kids = a great day. One of the things we both love a about country music is the patriotism. There will be lots of thanking our service men & women today. Lots of talk about America & what a great country it is. There will be nothing but a positive vibe. Sure the songs are about wife beaters, party people, broken hearts & tractors but the people, the music, the artists - it's all good.

So raise a glass - toast this great country of ours - have a happy & safe 4th - God Bless America & YEE YAW!!
