I woke up to a simply perfect day. Blue skies, soft breeze, abundant sunshine. How anyone could be anything but joyous on a day like to day? Headed out to the farmers market with hubby and Lu. It was packed. Picked up some local wine, onions, green beans, peppers, apples, peaches, corn, ravioli and bread. Looking forward to the Red Pepper Ravioli for dinner tonight with a side of fresh green beans and a glass of Vino.
There has been a lot in the news recently about knowing where your food comes from. About the industry having been made just that - an industry - instead of a food source. I was happy to go to the market today and see it packed with people who all want fresh, locally grown food. You can google farmers markets to find one in your neighborhood. Hope you do.
