Our world is going to hell in a hand basket. I hope your enjoying the ride. It seems like a lot of our leaders are certainly enjoying theirs. This whole recent outbreak of politicians gone wild is really disgusting. There is no other word for it.
From Anthony Weiner to Arnold to John Edwards, from lewd photos to baby daddy's - these men can't keep it in their pants. Why is that? Look at Weiner's wife - she is stunning. He hasn't even been married for a year and he's out there trolling the net. I just don't get it. Sex in our society has become too casual. It is not okay for a married man to father children outside of marriage, to send lewd pictures to college coeds, to stand up and pretend to be good guys. If these guys can't run their personal lives, how are we supposed to trust them to run our country? I am sick and tired of turning on the news to see yet another powerful man busted for inappropriate behavior. What kind of message is that sending our society and our kids? For everyone who does get caught, their must be hundreds who don't. Kinda like cockroaches - for everyone you see their are a 100 more hiding in the walls.
I teach my kids - and maybe these politicians need to take note - NOTHING you put on the Internet is private. Even if you send a "message" to someone, they can repost or retweet or re whatever. Think about your actions and everything you do on and off line - it will stay with your forever. I guess these are lessons our politicians need to learn - the hard way (pun intended).
