September 11 is no longer just a date. It's not a day of the week or month or year. Although each one of us relates differently when we hear 9/11, we all relate. It's a day that changed our lives forever. It's a day that brought loss and sadness. It's a day that gave us heroes, widowed husbands and wives, motherless and fatherless children. It's a day that brought war and fear and continues to change our lives each day.
For me 9/11 stirs up so much emotion. It's a day of personal loss and a day to be grateful for lives saved. It's a day the world stopped and a new reality emerged.
9/11 needs to be remembered by each one of us. The lives lost need to be honored. The heroes need to be recognized. Our troops need to be glorified. We need to always remember and Never Forget.
